This half bathroom is the smallest room in this RV, but it packs quite a punch in here! A lot of this space was original, and we just created a smart design that would allow us to utilize a lot of original items while still modernizing this space.
AFTER BEFORE
After removing the medicine cabinet, sanding the base cabinet, and then priming and painting the whole room white, I then painted the cabinet that beautiful maroon color. (Linked below)
I installed new flooring and trimmed the room out with quarter round. We put the same toilet back in, added new black hardware, kept the original sink but changed out the sink faucet, and kept the original countertops.
Then I used musselbound and peel and stick tiles to update the backsplash. These tiles (linked below) are guaranteed to not shrink or yellow, and they are super lightweight which is perfect for RVs! To learn more about how I installed the peel and stick tiles, read my prior blog post, Faux Backsplash Tutorial.
I added a new mirror, a new shade, and this room was completely transformed!
